How to Manage the Template

Managing your JScms template is simple and can be done directly from the administration panel. This guide explains how to install, uninstall, and change settings for your active template.

Managing Templates in the Administration Panel

  1. Navigate to the Templates Section: Log in to the JScms admin panel and go to the "Templates" section in the navigation menu.
  2. Install a Template: Upload a new template folder with your preferred FTP client to the /template directory. After that go back to your administration panel - template section and click "Install" to activate the template.
  3. Uninstall a Template: Select the active template and click "Uninstall" to remove the settings.
  4. Change Template Settings: For the active template, click "Settings" to adjust specific options such as color schemes, layout preferences, or custom configurations.

Notes:

  • Backup Recommended: Before uninstalling or changing a template, it's a good idea to back up your current settings and customizations.
  • Compatibility: Ensure any new template is compatible with your version of JScms to avoid errors.
  • Active Template: The active template should not be removed bevore uninstalled.
